Thomas Young is the Assistant Percussion Director at Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma. Since 2017, he has also been a member of the percussion staff at Broken Arrow High School and has contributed to numerous other high schools across the Oklahoma City area during his college years.

Thomas began his Drum Corps International (DCI) teaching career with Spirit of Atlanta in 2020 and joined the percussion staff at Phantom Regiment in 2022. His World Class Winter Guard International (WGI) experience includes performing with Vigilantes Indoor Percussion in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, Thomas marched with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps, where he earned a DCI Gold Medal and the Fred Sanford High Percussion Award.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he studied under David Hardman, Bill Repavich, Dr. Andrew Richardson, and Nick Steward.
